Job Summary and Scope As a participant in the Cardinal Innovations Healthcare Internship Program you will gain real word experience and exposure to various functional areas of Human Resources. This role will rotate between the department assisting with projects in Public Affairs and Corporate Communications. The Internship Program provides exposure to senior leaders, structured assignments and events over 11 weeks in the Summer. Job Responsibilities Provide administrative support for the Public Affairs department as needed to include but not limited to developing/mailing/tracking internal and external correspondence, and the coordination of meetings and schedules Ensure all state lobbying and reports are filed to ensure compliance with state laws and regulations Monitoring and reporting on relevant state political meetings, policies, and trends for relevance to the organization Coordination of meetings with state-level elected officials and other high-level stakeholders Coordinating proactive legislative communication, as well as coordinating responses to legislative inquiries Coordinating communication between contract lobbyists and appropriate internal team members Update databases with critical information.
